RESET THROUGH A CREATIVE LENS
Discover Diana Bartlett's curated edit of Pre-Fall 26. Inspired by daily life in Paris, the photographer and stylist brings her creative perspective to The Reset Collection, pairing relaxed confidence with refined structure for the transitional season.

Diana's ideal bag is spacious, soft and designed to move with the body. Drawn to braided details and rich suede finishes, she gravitates towards pieces that transform an everyday essential into something distinctive.

Tailoring signals that vacation is over. The moment I put something structured on, I’m ready to work.

Q&A
What does a pre‑fall reset mean to you?
Coming home at the end of summer and settling back into a routine.
Favorite denim fit?
Bootcut. Always.
How do you wear a trench—your way?
Over a gym kit or thrown over a cocktail dress to make it feel more relaxed.
What draws you to certain textures or knits?
Touch. Everything starts with how something feels.
You’re always on the move—what do you look for in a bag?
Big enough to carry my entire life. I have an “everything pouch” with the essentials—Aquaphor, hand sanitizer, strawberry‑mint Ice Breakers, hand cream, band‑aids—plus my passport, camera, and snacks. A little Mary Poppins magic never hurts.
What details make a tote feel special enough for everyday use?
It has to be slouchy, so it moves with the body—not too structured, or it’s not comfortable. I love braided or suede finishes—they add something extra.
How does tailoring fit into your reset?
Tailoring signals that vacation is over. The moment I put something structured on, I’m ready to work.
Your work balances softness and strength—how does that show up in how you dress?
I like one strong piece that does the work. Everything else can stay easy.
What are you reading (or returning to) during this transition?
I always return to Adam Phillips.
What’s your favorite ritual when you’re back after summer?
Couch time with close friends I haven’t seen hearing about summer romances and cooking a big roast chicken at home. Heaven.
What are the first places you revisit when you’re back in Paris?
The Seine, L'Escale and Palais Royale.
