Return & Refund
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If something isn’t quite right, you’re welcome to return your item within 30 days.
Sale & Last Chance items
Sale and discounted items, such as Last Chance, must be returned within 14 days of receiving your order.
Return processing
Once your return is on its way, please allow up to 14 days for it to be received and processed. If it has taken longer, our Customer Service team will be happy to help - simply reach out with proof of return (such as a collection receipt or drop‑off slip).
During peak periods, including holidays and sale events, processing times may be slightly longer.
Return form
A return form is included in your parcel. If it’s been misplaced, you can easily print a new one and fill in the required details.
You are welcome to return online orders in & Other Stories stores across the Netherlands. Simply bring your E‑receipt or Delivery Note, along with the item(s) you wish to return. Your refund will be issued to the same payment method used for your original purchase.
Please note: Items purchased on websites other than Stories.com cannot be returned in our stores.
How to return by post
Return cost: €4, deducted from your refunded amount.
1. Prepare your return
Complete the returns note using the appropriate return codes and place it inside the parcel. Pack your item(s) in the original plastic bag and box whenever possible to help reduce waste. Ensure the parcel is taped securely.
2. Returning multiple orders
You may return several orders in one parcel, provided you include all relevant return notes.
Please note: the €4 return fee applies per order, not per parcel.
3. Attach the prepaid label
Use the pre‑paid postage label included in your original packaging. Attach it clearly to the parcel before sending.
4. Keep proof of postage
You are responsible for the return until it arrives with us. Please obtain a proof of postage from your chosen return method.
Refund timeline
You can expect your refund within three weeks of sending your return. Once processed, we will send you a Return Confirmation Email. If you haven’t received this email within 14 days after returning your parcel, please contact our Customer Service team for assistance.
Important note: If you are returning an item purchased from any retailer other than Stories.com, please contact that retailer’s Customer Care team directly. We cannot accept returns from these partner sites, either online or in stores.
DHL
If your order was delivered via DHL, you can take your return to your nearest DHL service point.
Budbee
If your order was delivered via Budbee, you can also book a pick-up of your return. You will receive an SMS from Budbee with instructions after you have received your goods. The courier will bring a return label.
Budbee box
Attach the self-adhesive address label to your shipment and book a return via the link in the SMS previously sent to you. See more instructions here.
If the package is too large, you will be able to book a pick-up of the return at your home.
Cycloon
Was your package delivered by a bicycle courier? Then you must return using the DHL return label in your order. You can find a DHL service point here.
We ask that items are returned clean, unworn and with all their tags attached. Shoes must be returned with their original boxes.
Naturally any faulty items can be returned. Any non-faulty items that are not in a condition suitable for resale (i.e. used, washed, soiled or damaged), will not be refunded and will be sent back to you.
If you’re feeling unsure about our sizing, please head over to our size guide and check the measurements. We ask that you keep returns to a minimum so that we together can reduce the environmental impact caused by unnecessary freights.
A return form is included in your parcel. If you no longer have this form, simply print and fill in all required information in a new form.

Please note, it can take up to 14 days to receive and complete your return. We always try to be as fast as possible, but during busy periods (such as gift giving holidays and sales) it can take a little longer.
We are experiencing some delays with handling the returns. If you have sent your return just a few days ago, please allow us a little more time to handle your return. If it's been more than 14 days, please contact us and have your order details handy.
Klarna
You will receive confirmation of your return booking within 14 days of returning it back to us. If you have not received your return confirmation from us within that time, please contact our customer service. All refund information will come directly to you from Klarna.
PAY NOW – You can expect to receive a refund confirmation email from Klarna soon after your return is processed, your refund will be visible in your bank account within 14 days but is usually much faster than this.
PAY LATER – You will automatically receive an updated Pay Later balance from Klarna once your return is processed, this will include any instructions on how to make your payment if you have a remaining balance.
MONTHLY FINANCING – You will automatically receive an updated statement balance, when your return is processed, this will include any instructions on how to make your payment if payment is due.
Paypal
You can expect to receive a refund within 14 days of sending it back to us. Once we have processed the return you will receive a return confirmation email.
You are welcome to return online orders in & Other Stories stores in the Netherlands. Simply bring your E-receipt or the Delivery Note and the item(s) you wish to return to the store. We will refund you through the same payment method you used to make the initial payment.
Note: Items purchased on any site other than Stories.com cannot be returned to our stores.
For purchases made in one of our stores, bring your original receipt with you to the store. We ask that items are returned clean, unworn and with all their tags attached. Please note that not all items purchased in our stores can be returned. These are: underwear and swimwear bottoms, cosmetics, face masks, earrings and gift cards.
At & Other Stories, we offer a flexible returns policy to ensure you enjoy a seamless shopping experience. However, if we notice an unusually high rate of returns or suspect purchases are being made for resale purposes, we may deactivate your account at our discretion.

While we aim to make fashion and beauty accessible to everyone, some of our cosmetic items are classified as dangerous goods and may have delivery restrictions due to transport regulations. This includes products like:
Nail polish
Certain perfumes
Nail polish remover
Pressurised spray cans
These items may not be eligible for delivery to all locations.
Rest assured, all our beauty products are tested to ensure they are safe for use.
How to Return Dangerous Goods
Use a Box with the LQ Dangerous Goods Label
If you're using the original packaging, the label is already attached.
If using a different box or the label is damaged, print a new label.
Secure the Product
Fill the box with paper or padding to keep the item stable during transit.
Follow the Standard Return Process
Refer to your delivery note for return instructions.
Important: If you're returning items without dangerous goods, please remove the LQ label from the box.
